Dear fans and friends,

The time has come to say goodbye. In december 2009 we announced that we will be inactive for an unknown period of time. Since then we have been doing a little this and that to see if we can get  the band up and running. However, during the last 6 months we have finally come to the conclusion that The Cyan Velvet Project is and will not be a fully functional band in any form. The time and energy required to maintain the band has become too much for some of us to overcome and we don't want to disappoint anybody by falling into the grey ocean of musical mediocrity. As of today, The Cyan Velvet Project is now officially suspended and gone for good.

The Cyan Velvet Project was founded in the year 2000 and the past 10 years have been amazing. Two demos, two EPs, two great full-length albums, gigs around the world and a nice amount of TV and radio coverage; we are truly proud of all of that. Like said in the previous announcement, there is no drama of any kind involved and we are still friends. Some of us stay in the music business, some don't. Who knows, maybe we will even put CVP back together some day. But right now the time has come to move on with our lives and concentrate on any other projects we have. We are all saddened of letting go something that changed our lives - but we also realize that this is the only right thing to do.

We would like to thank all of our fans and friends who have been supporting us and keeping us going for the last 10 years. Thank you and goodbye!
